Our little Keido is becoming quite the traveled man. He's thirteen months old and has already flown across the country five times. During his travels, he has left an impression on several little women, and I'm afraid that a couple might have left an impression on him as well.
As I mentioned in an earlier blog, when we flew out to Idaho in July, we sat by a little four year old girl. Keido enjoyed playing with her toys, chewing on her dolls, and laughing at her jokes. As we were standing up to leave, she took her chance to steal a kiss. Impression made.
On our last trip, this past December, Keido had a totally different experience. Coming through security, I threw Keido back in his stroller as I rushed to put
my belt, shoes, coat, and backpack back on. He was waiting patiently when a little girl who had gone threw security before us came back to meet... him? She seemed to be fascinated with him and I saw her reach for his hand. She pulled it close to her lips and all of a sudden, Keido just started screaming. The little girl ran back to her mom, who apologized for her daughter "scaring" Keido. I pulled him out to comfort him and found that he had two red teeth marks on the back of his hand. Impression made. It will be interesting to see what Keido thinks of girls when he gets older, will they be lovers, or biters?
