A Child Prodigy

In our daily play routine, Keido and I enjoy spending time gracing the ivories. He has progressively become more passionate about his playing and is known to sing along once in a while as well. We hope that he will retain this joy for music throughout his life.

Boyd is also trying to influence Keido's young mind with the things that he enjoys:)

Random Little Nothings

One of the many beauties of church is the fact that no matter where you are in the world, you can always find a smiling face to greet you. Yesterday was our first Sunday in the Bahamas and we ventured out to find a small branch of about 50 members. At the conclusion of church, the three of us were standing in the hall, meeting new people. After about the second person that we met, Keido caught on that it was customary to shake everyone's hands. So, as each person stopped by to introduce themselves, Keido boldly sticks out his hand and aggressively shakes their hands. Each person just died, thinking that Keido's little hand shakes were the funniest thing. What can I say, we have a daring little boy!
Today, Keido was going crazy! He was running around, shaking his head like a mad man, and running into everything. And not just softly, he was full on running into things. As he was doing that, he totally took on a little bit more than he can handle. He decided to run into the ottoman that is three times his size and when he did, the ottoman sent him flying. Thankfully, he wasn't hurt, but boy oh boy, it was funny.
